Pump It Up, with Tessa, Daddy, Aunt Kristina, and Papa Dahl

The kids had a great time, again! Daddy and I paced ourselves a little better this time, and to help out Caleb woke up 2 hours early today so that he was tired and zoomed just a little slower for us. Papa Dahl came and saw the kids in fast forward, I think he agrees that it is a worthwhile activity for them.

From my observation, Kristina had a good time too. Just watching the kids have such fun brings joy to the heart and smiles to the face.

Grandpa spent time with each of the kids. He saw their excitement, their skillls, and joys. But he agreed that you had to be fast to keep up with them. And he did the best that he could.

The blur at the left of the picture is Grandpa.

Well that's all for now, but I thought that you should see what Caleb is really into. We've finally found a safe place for Caleb to jump as much as he wants. Last night, Daddy tucked him into bed and he sent a message to Mommy through Daddy that I was not to jump off the couches...:)

I should also mention that afterwards we went to lunch at Grammy's, or as Caleb says "Papa's house". Tessa and Caleb are in the process of trying to learn to share with each other. They share well with other kids, now they have to share with one another. But like boys of all ages, Caleb knows exactly which buttons to push when it comes to my favorite niece...a white pony named Rose; he liked to play keep away, which is not the best game to play when they haven't learned sharing yet....

Things will improve.

Thank you for posting all these great pictures! We will definitely return to Pump it Up...what a great way for all of us to burn calories. LOL! Tessa adores her time with Caleb, and I'm so glad that they have opportunities to play and learn together. I think that the kids generally share pretty well together (for two year olds!) but I did have to chuckle at your comment about boys knowing how to find the hot buttons. "Rose" is definitely a hot button for Tessa, and boy does she explode if someone tries to "share" her...we're working on that. ;-) Loved seeing you - have a great day!
Love, Kristina
